Leap Day, Feb 29, mail art from the ladies! Art-of-the-Envelope, too!

First from Angie Cope, well, really from Snooky Dog...with crown.

I always get a smile from the postal gal when she hands me a "Snooky" card! Thank you, Angie  xxx

TiAr Raden sent the above card and greeting...mysterious foggy, vintage images. Fascinating!

Janine in Switzerland, sent this beautiful collage," both sides now" with

delicate papers and warm vibrant colors and patterns!

Also, Janine knows the "art-of-the-envelope" , where there are collage bits and pieces that

the postal clerks must enjoy seeing, too. thank you, Janine! (Monkey from Switzerland :-)

Fleur Helsinger from California sent flowers and the rich earth in a transparent envelope',

with wonderful "random words" poetry! Many thanks, Fleur!

"...he loves me...he loves me not? "Daisy and photo collage from TicTac in Germany. 'Love it!

And always great rubber stampings on TicTac's envelopes!

Svenja Wahl sent arty stamps is this arty envelope...both sides had fun images: "Be Tidy",

"Make mine Pink" seems to say the "A Pop of Color" side of the  card from Arac...Cara Harrison.

Her envelope has nice stamping too..and fun "Forever" US postage stamps:

More envelope stamping art, and beautiful "fairytale" mystery-collage inside.

This came from Sherri Ayers and the collage measures about 22 cms (8 in) square. Lovely collage!

Sleeping beauty? And not a haptic werewolf? Gothic!

Beautiful textures and materials...

Great mail art day for Leap Day! The mail box was overflowing with cards and arty slides and fabulous wonders. Thank you, gals! They are each treasures...and  the artful envelopes too! Many thanks to all!

HIJACK! I also got a Leap Day card, featuring a Leaping Snooky! One of Angie's first rubber stamps, this brought a big smile to my face! Has anyone else noticed that his paws aren't upside down? He must be very flexible and bendy!! Maybe I stare at my mail art for too long?

I love the CORGI FEET lettering Angie, are they stamps too? The lines are so, so fine. You could be cheeky and put one of those stars on Snooky's bum, in Australia we call that a 'chocolate starfish,' ha ha.Maybe that's why this card makes me smile!

As promised, she added a Carmen Miranda stamp for me, and this typewriter one from my favourite series of stamps, and a Snookums too!! And...some old guy in an ill-fitting wig. Thankyou Angie, this is the best Leap Day I've had in years!

There was nothing on my leap day, so I'm coming here to get my eyes full of mail-art. Thank you Katerina!
