Holiday Season in Greece runs from Friday, Dec 19 until January 7 (day after Epiphany).

Schools are closed all that time. Most public services, if not closed, they are running on

low , very low, maintenance. My postman delivered  mail Monday, Dec 15, then on Friday,

Dec. 19, and then today, Dec. 30...three mail deliveries in 2 weeks!

We can just imagine the mail back-up, piles of undelivered, maybe even unsorted, mail,

that is in some storeroom for later..."after the Epiphany" work days :-)

Would that the Greek Post had "wings" :-)
