I had been away and missed all the events in Paris last week.  But upon my return, I noticed a big brown envelope had arrived.

Inside it said, take a photo of Edmund somewhere in Paris.  Easy I thought, I'll just take a photo of him on the balcony and that will be that.

I got the camera and stuck the Hippo on the railing with blu tack.  I then turned to pick up the camera, then turned back, and he was gone.  I looked down over the railing, and didn't see anything.  I then ran down and looked on the sidewalk, under parked cars and even in the street.  No sight of him.

I thought to myself that Katerina & Erni will never believe me when I tell them this story.  But where could he have gone?  I went back upstairs and looked again.

Yep, and there he was, flat as a pancake on the 3rd floor window sill.

The police report figured that he had jumped, and the doctor said that it is likely that he didn't feel any pain.  In any case it was a better ending than those Kats had last year.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZPbtoW4ZlM

Thank you, but I am truly sorry for our loss.  But as we say in Paris, life goes on and make the best of it.

Whahoo...be careful with "wholistic" Edmund...not too close to the fire please!

Don't want him to have the same fate as Zombie Kitty!

Edmund GR is getting ready for tomorrow :-)

Travel to the mountains to see SNOW?  I just opened the back door, put on the skies and jumped.

The Hippo is cold and wet from staying out all day.

Snow in Istanbul, Erni? Yep...not too much though...

I was living on North sheridan, in Chicago and saw the snow fall

on January 26, 1967...when it stopped the next morning, there was 23 inches...

58 cm!

(I then left 2 chicago for the Mediterranean in 1969 :-)

No matter how you look at it,

Deep snow and Hippos don't mix well together.Even if you take a dive into it.

Not a lot of snow, but that might change.
