Karnival of Trash Mail Art Call: D-Kryptic D-Korrespondence by Jon Foster (Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA)

Mail art by IUOMA member Jon Foster (Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA)

February 3, 2017 - This is the first of two entries by Jon Foster that I am thrilled to share as part of the Karnival of Trash.

Jon Foster is not an I-DK card-carrying Kulter or rabid trashpoet, but he certainly holds an honorary place in the movement. Reasons include his Punk Revival mail art, his pioneering “ripped tape” technique, his use of found materials and the influence of his mentor Richard Canard. Jon Foster is making many other contributions as well. He needs no introduction for most contemporary networkers.

Thx Carmela. Jon's definitely a network all-star, and he started not long ago here at the humble IUOMA-Ning.
