Jumpy owl

Look who arrived here after a long travel from Old Orchard Beach to Heidelberg! Nancy sent this slow owl (say that ten times!) ages ago. I love it and I'm laughing about it. It has everything good mail art needs: eyes, rust, fringes.

And: A thought for today from yesterday! What else do you need?

As I told Svenja before it reached her, this was a piece not intended to be an owl--just an abstract, as usual--but the whole time I worked he kept looking like an owl and it wouldn't go away no matter what I did to him. So funny, because Svenja was already the intended recipient, so maybe her animal-thing kept perching over the work table!
