May 10, 2013 - Over the past three years, many IUOMA members have become friends with Jen Staggs (formerly of Dallas, Texas) and have received her fantastic mail-art. Her work often involves some interesting take on women's fashion. She has also produced some outstanding textile art.

For the last year (or so) Jen Staggs has been on a personal journey and not involved in the network as much as she was. I was absolutely thrilled to received this large postcard-size work from her mailed from Louisiana. This is very characteristically Jen:

Last year I received mail-art from Jen that was sent from Nashville, Tennessee. Has Jen found a new home in New Orleans? We certainly wish her the best.

Jen once participated in one of Cheryl Penn's (South Africa) collaborative book projects. Jen's book showcased her stunning photos of New Orleans. I believe Jen wrote that it is one of her favourite cities. Perhaps she has settled there, and we can look forward to her return to mail-art.

In the meantime, it is a treat to receive work from Jen Staggs!
