Buddy Jam ATC collab by Erin Young (Innisfil, Ontario, Canada) and DVS
February 13, 2016 - I have completed one round of an ATC collab with Erin Young of Canada, one of the leading proponents of the Buddy Jam movement that has captured the hearts and minds of so many contemporary mail artists. I am thrilled to be able to share the results of the collab as well as some fascinating material Erin Young included in the mailing. The original mailing was documented at the IUOMA:

I do not follow instructions well, so Erin kindly explained where I erred in the Buddy Jam process. Perhaps others contemplating entering into the FAB Buddy Jams find the procedure daunting. Hopefully you can learn from this. I messed up, but it is relatively simple. Things still worked out, I think. You can always get back in sync, apparently.
And the reverse:
Erin Young also sent this fantastic abstract collage that definitely enters the visual-textual realm:
The piece (above) is far more striking in-person than it appears in a scan. I believe asemic symbols are present. Also of interest are these two items, which I am interpreting as Canadian Trashpo (relatively rare):
A fun, eclectic, generous and substantial mailing from Erin Young. Many thanks!

Hi Terry, you don't say "no" to the Jam Princess.
I'm not a very good jammer, but feel free. You might have to wait 3 months.
Regards, DVS
DVS, I didn't know you were doing buddy jams! Oh my, how fun! May I send you a jam?
And why the surprise?
DK might be "The Queen of Trash" but Erin is at least "The Jam Princess."
You, res, you need to start a movement and get a fan club or a cult. They's left you in the dust.
res, w(tf) is "ermagah"?
