In middle of a painting, Svenja Wahl, Germany

This wonderful painting is large, about 21 x 21 cm, painted on panel. The surface reveals large white brush strokes, what is under the surface? Are we lost in a snowstorm, a cloud or blinded by the sun? When your eyes get used to it, one sees a distant map and a sign "gut" (okay) and I dare take a step ... out into the landscape!
