I hasten today to thank my dear friends who have sent in their Art. Sorry, this is just a short review, no details yet.

In the last year I have significantly decreased my activity on the Internet. While continuing to make collages, keeping my interest in the works of my Mail Art friends, I don't have time to take photos of the mail I receive, nor to post photos in social networks on the Internet. You may get the impression that I'm disappearing from Mail Art, but I'm not. Rather, I am returning to the mode of Mail Art existence that existed before social networks and before the Internet. It's all about how my life has changed during the years of the epidemic and quarantine. Lately it's necessary to help my parents, who are getting older, and on top of that, I'm keeping my professional ambitions alive. I have started a new research project in my scientific field (the history of Christianity among the Slavs), I study a lot, I can say I am getting a second higher education. Time flies fast!

So, at the moment, I'm sitting at my desk, taking photos and transcribing the names of the senders. To each one, my bow and thanks! Here is the list of senders:

Everything is great! I reply to friends as much as I can and receive your return messages myself. Some art messages, sent long ago, have yet to reach me; let's wait some more.

If on any given day I haven't found one hour in my day to post a photo of Mail Art on the Internet, it means that today I took an hour's walk in the park with my Mom (which is absolutely essential for her) or sat over manuscripts for three hours trying to compile a historical commentary on an account of a saint. Ah, if only I had time for everything! And at the same time, how rich I am to have so many friends in the art world!

Dear Ilya, I am glad my mail art from Japan arrived to you safely via the help of my postal pal in Germany as we still cannot send anything to Russia from Japan sadly. I wish you love, good health for you and your family and more mail art coming to your mailbox. I feel the same with you - how rich I am to have so many friends in the art world through IUOMA ! :-) See you more in the mailbox ! :-)

what a great post! yes, Ilya i concur - Mail Art friends remind me how vast and varied the world is, and that there is indeed a universal language that transcends our borders, politics, and ideologies (cue John Lennon's "Imagine"). i too have been decreasing my internet activity, preferring other kinds of creativity that don't involve typing. beyond the mailbox, all best wishes for your research and yes, treasure the time you get to spend with your parents. peace to you my friend, and thanks for sharing your spirit here at IUOMA.
