Greetings Citizens of the Postal Planet,

My name is Richard F. Yates (AKA: Captain Greybeard the Internet Pirate Radio Show Host, Supreme Bunny Warlord of the Bunnyheadsquad art scamps, and Elvis Swivel of zine-makin' shakin' bacon unfame) and I live in the Pacific-Northwestern United States. Yes, it's wet here. No we don't go outside much without coats. Yes, we got time to make art.
I first came into contact with mail art through the old FACTSHEET 5 zine catalog, but what brought me into creating postal art of my own was the film HOW TO DRAW A BUNNY. I was fascinated by the person of Ray Johnson and by the idea of shipping these "nothing" artworks to people all over the world.
In 2005 I started The M.A.R.S. Project (Mobile Arts Road Show), which received several thousand individual works from several hundred contributors. We had three great community showings (in my backyard) which brought together a ton of people and inspired several weirdos to get their own projects rolling. I was happy.
Then I went to grad school (for English, not art...if that isn't abundantly clear from my creations) and I had to take a break from the postal art world.

Now I'm back!

Sorry,
Richard
Supreme Bunny Warlord
