It is always a special treat when mail art comes from Argentina.

This is very thick and richly black haptic art from Marcela Peral.

I tried an angle shot to see if it would capture the thickness of the paint:

But such rich textures are only to be held, not scanned.

Oh, wow..now I really appreciate this art piece, Marcela! Printing ink is very rich  and smooth, but, yes, it takes a long time to get that stiff and dry! That makes it even more fantastic! Thank you xxx

I love paint applied so thick you can feel it. The wrinkly-looking paper appeals to the senses as well. Thanks for posting, Katerina.
