I tried and tried to take a picture with my terrible phone to make the feathers come out better, but that never really worked. Thanks for adding the comments, it's an amazing piece and thanks for sending it to me.

It's a 'sea ars' but it's made of feathers.  I found the feathers as I walked my trash hound and I was amazed that each feather was a different grey. I found a bit of grey card and stuck them on it but I was in doubt if they would make it as-is so I thought PLASTIC and after a few attempts I managed to arrive at something that I liked enough to send... but you can't see the wonderful range of grey feathers anymore. Oh well!
