Beautiful watercolours and photographs from new friend An U of Latvia. These are photos she took on the beach and feature pieces of washed up amber. Wow, I hope she collected them!

I somewhat rudely demanded mail art from new friend Taidgh of Ireland, and here's what I scored!

A fabulous envelope with birds and a mail art machine, very handy indeed!

And inside a crazy crocodile mummy amongst psychedelic art doodles!

Love these, thanks to you both!

I think Emerald Tears might work. Though it might be considered overly dramatic. The thinking cap is on.

Bah! I miss out on all the good stuff down here!! Irish forest, it even sounds lovely..

Now, what will you be calling the Irish rainwater? You'll only make a fortune with a really good name. "taidgher's drops" is a bad example. The wheels are turning though!!

Fingers crossed for you. I want to send you a small bit of an Irish forest but I realise Australian customs are quite strict. That rules out sending you a bottle of Irish rain water :P One day I'm going to make my fortune selling Irish rain.

No unfortunately. :-(  Haven't seen much of her stuff around either. Maybe this week....

errm ... I've been thinking how to explain those machines and for the life of me I can't. I think I have to write you a letter about it!

Yes Taidgh, I noticed the name change, but I decided not to attack you this time, since it was your first mail to me!! I'm always yelling at Dean for getting it wrong!

What sort of imaginary things do these silly machines at the pier do?
