Construction Sea - November 19, 2014

Caught up with my mail.
C. Mehrl Bennett sent a booklet of poems titled Vertical Poems, a collaboration with McMurtagh, Eye Rush Press – 2014 – along with 2, glossy works (one titled 2013 “Montevideo Asemic Poem” & the other perhaps digital art). Also inclosed were 2 art stamps which I've already sent out.
Received 2 postcards: Sub #8690 from David Stanley Aponte, featuring a glossy photo - & a no-return-address card from “galloway”, from Portland OR.
Brain Cell 898 & work from Borderline Grafix (a&ps) also received.
Michael Goetz sent LC #81 – a collection of language conscious (for lack of a better term) 1 panel comics - & a “SEA” card by Carol Melichar I enjoy.
2 mailings from Moan Lisa – 2 glossy prints & some poems.
Word scraps from Helen Amyes may provide material for new work.
I've included images of works I've sent out or at least have made with materials from others.
I had a whopping 3 mailings from MomKat (aka Katerina Nikoltsou). Many of these works, completed & unfinished, feature printing using a “found stamp” I traded with the artist. It is with an eerie feeling I appreciate these works, as I use an identical found stamp (“caster” is from a local license plate frame I find often, broken in the street) - like an absent collaboration. She also provided a small envelope of mail art stamps I will use asap.
Finally, a large mailing from John M. Bennett, returning collaborations & other items – a TLP made in collaboration with the aforementioned Katerina Nikoltsou, titled The Dimmer Flame; a rather full add & pass; a print of a collaboration with me, featuring ECHINODERMATA in the corner.
Many Thanks to all!
