- Sends 'crossed-out' prose / phrases

- Let's us know that "It's 2018 and the World Is..."

- Uses letter stamps

I also received a postcard, maybe the beginning of April.  I Googled FD Standpipe, and I suspect the alias means, FIRE DEPARTMENT STANDPIPE.  Not much to go on...  Mine is 22/? where yours is 28/ ?.  The words on my PC, are from a comedian and so are both of yours.  I think the book is "Born Standing Up; A Comic's life", by Steve Martin.  I do like the mystery, but I would also like to reply.

Barbargirl ~ thanks for sharing your post card. I would love to use the phrase "the plot thickens," but without additional clues I'm not sure it would be appropriate! :) Keep your eyes and ears open!
