Fluxus Bucks and Haptic/Asem(en)ic poem à la sauce Grigstaire - from Grigori Antonin

This week I got a bit richer. Grigori sent me these very colorful Fluxus Bucks. I had to check out what they actually are, and found a whole world of arty bucks. As you probably know there is a group dedicated to them on IUOMA and hosted by Ruud Janssen, check it out here. These seem to be from Julie Jefferies aka. ex posto facto, miss Fluxus Bucks herself. A couple of them seem pretty "done", I might send them back to her, and pass the others on.

The envelope was one that Grigori received and turned inside out, with address and stamps inside. Other than Fluxux Bucks it contained, ermmmm, an empty box of condoms stapled into a mini booklet. I have to admit that when I first saw that I thought what the ...? But you're right Grigori, which poem is more haptic/asemic than love making? I also did not realize the pun on the word "asemenic", which I think is quite genius :-))
Grigori never fails to make eyebrows raise, that's for sure. Thank you for this very special poem, it will make me laugh for days to come.

Thanks for the link Lisa! I didn't know that work. I like how he uses very old style techniques for very modern issues. Cool stuff.

Yes, there are two holes, you're right Lisa, I didn't notice them. And the currency, hmmm, I didn't want to go there but since you mentioned... :-)))

Lord Percy Antonin Artaud :-)) Laugh!!  Hmm, Trojan Horse, you think that was a deliberate reference? I know it is kind of meaningless, but I'm sure that "asemenic" made you laugh a little bit. No? Don't get mad Sloan, but I secretly wished you got one of those poems (maybe you have?), just thinking about the great blog post you would have written....

Yes, he achieved the ultimate minimalism = zero words. You are so skillful with your commentary - I would caution you against naming this joker the mail-art heir apparent to Romantic poetry - Lord Percy Antonin Artaud. I could further play along and point out his reference to the Trojan Horse, but I'd like to think it's possible to take the high road with this one. You certainly did an amazing job attaching meaning to something that is so clearly out-of-control meaningless.

He's definitely in for an asemic Pulitzer, without having written a line! (well, there's the title, but...).

Hi Marie, well we have a real contender for a Pulitzer Prize in Poetry here, don't we? Excellent commentary.
