I do not have a message to all mankind. I have no answers to any important questions. I can not show you the right way or bring happiness into your life. My art is not about making loud statements or shocking for the sake of pure shock or teaching all viewers a valuable lesson.

My art is only about sharing - what I can show is my own, private and personal view of the world, it is certainly subjective, sometimes weak, sometimes strong, oftentimes full of doubt, unresolved issues, unclear paths, open, closed, up, down, joyful and sorrowful, for art for me is about one unique thing that all of us have in common: life.


"The artist is an exceptional talent. And this exceptional talent has accompanied her life from a very early age. Who would drive 100km by bus through the Siberian tundra to get an English book to teach themselves this foreign language at the age of 16? At the end of the Cold War, there was no alternative. Like so many others, she found her way west, with all the challenges of arriving in this very different world and society. But there was one thing that had always accompanied the artist. There was a talent that always helped her to work through reality, an activity that always helped her to find calm and inner peace: drawing (Juan Petry).
