Who is this smiling gal?

Aha...from Japan!

It's from Marie Wintzer, super mail artist of by-gone happy days!

'Opened the handmade envelope and inside many goodies:

She sent a vintage postcard with rare rubber stamping:

and this "comic-collage" card, too:

Oh, so good to see Marie, who like many have left IUOMA,

and the mail art scene...life, family, work, studies, gets top priority in many cases.

Missing Marie, and Cheryl, and Lesley, and Dean...so many...

Always a joy and a surprise to see something in the mail :-)

Agreed on all counts.

I still like sending mail art to those who have left, they never are obliged to reply, as "life" is filled with other commitments, and mail art friends come and go...(many have gone to Facebook, too) Mail art joins us with many "newbies" which is fascinating, too!

Very lucky you, Kat. Marie, and your mention of bygone others, have me dying of nostalgia today. I guess this dates us but it can't be helped.  :--}
