May 15, 2015 - In the context of current discussions about the relationship of traditional mail art to the digital realm, Jesse Edwards is an example of a currently active mail artist who has managed to reconcile the seeming polarities. Jesse Edwards is a prolific creator of digital work, which he posts regularly, especially on Facebook. Formerly of California and now living in France, he participates in online discussions and has an online presence, including IUOMA membership. Yet as this material he sent attests, he is a skilled stamp maker and very at home with traditional mail art forms. He is well-versed in mail art history. I am thrilled to have received this wonderful package.
