For those of you who happen to be around: Here's the press release of one of the latest projects I participated in.
Vinyl is not one of my regular materials, but, boy, it felt so good heat it up, let it melt partially and then fold it into a windmill. Awfully sorry, Chopin... :-)

Over 130 between local and foreign artists, over 200 students from and outside Verbania schools got involved and with different visual languages worked out an object, the vinyl record – an icon of the 60/70s to demonstrate that it can still live again even if it is said to be extinguished by most people.
Can the vinyl record come to life again? The answer is in the state of mind of the artists who elaborated it and in the state of mind that arouse in us when we look at it: from the comic to the social, from the poetic to the musical to which it belongs…..
New experiments and historicized artistic researches dialogue in one of the most
beautiful setting of Verbania, on the shores of Lago Maggiore: Villa Giulia
The event combines the "what " and "where" of Duchamp memory, giving energy and artistic dignity to objects, that are considered obsolete and technologically backward from most people, which revive in an atmosphere of lightness and beauty.
Thanks to the collaboration of "VERBANIA MUSIC"
