Erni receives from Torma Cauli in Hungary

It's been quite a while since I  received mail art from Hungarian

top artist,Torma Cauli.

He must have read some of my comments about Tibet and

Tibetan Buddhism during my time at IUOMA.

There is always something referring to the Land of Snow on his enve...

or directly in the mail art he sends out to me.

Today it's a guy having a cigarette before all those packages

he's leaning on will be put on sheep's backs again for further

transport to somewhere across the Himalayas.

Most probably it's Tibetan salt from Amdo in the bags.

Very well done, Torma.

The card is absolutely haptic

and he has used crumpled paper for creating that relief-effect.

Could it be trees in a thunderstorm?

The collage on thick cardboard is so funny.

Main ingredient is part of a red toothpowder package.

The German words he cut out mean:

STICK YOUR DAMP TOOTHBRUSH

INTO THE TOOTHPOWDER

AND CLEAN YOUR TEETH THAT WAY.

Not me. I use toothpaste from our local Bio-shop.
