Antonio Moreno in Barcelona, Spain, sent me a package today...with 120 envelopes!!!

Okay, 50 of them are beautiful BLUE ;-) And the white ones are very nice, too!

Each envelope has a Moreno's artistamp and a rubber stamp in the upper left corner,

The idea is for a Mail Art project at the Akademie of Kunste in Berlin:

"Envelope is Museum"...

And you need to add something on the envelope ,and send it on to Berlin ( probably not necessary to

add anything IN the envelope...unless you wish to).

The space belongs to YOU...front, and back of envelope. Paint it, draw on it, add stamps, etc.

Soooooo I am adding my stamps and/or stampings on the envelopes some on the back as usual too,

and they will be addressed to the Akademie in Berlin.

Then i shall pack them up 5 or 10 in larger envelopes and send them to : "YOU"

(whoever would like to collab on these envelopes, let me know :-)

Gotta love Antonio's stampings..."31 Feb 2015!"

and his many portrait artistamps (which I'll post in the comments)

Thanks Antonio...many in-the-mail to Berlin soon!

Prairie Kitten and Maria-Teresa, I have two or three left to send to you.

In the mail to you both on Tuesday.

If Ruud received another 100, perhaps he would send you more, too.

Ruud Janssen- When you get ready to distribute your bundle, I would love to have some. A group of other artists and myself love working on projects like this.

Hi Carina! I have sent out most of the 120 envelopes today in packets of 6 to several mail artists.

But there are 6 blue ones left

...shall I send them to you?

They will go out on Tuesday, as we start a three-day Mardi Gras weekend,

and post office will be closed Monday.

and I should mention that  these envelopes are "collaboration mail art" from Moreno in Italy,

with an addition from me, and then a third addition from you. But everyone can also

send their own individual art-envelopes to the project, too.

I'll check on details for this project, but I think there is no limit to size of the

envelope, if you wish it can be empty, and so far there is no deadline date.

However, each envelope should be sent separately with it's own postage.

Happy creating!

I would love to participate, Katerina! If you have more envelopes...
