Look at this lovely hand made Boekie I received from Emily.

It all started with a hand and pencil.

The pencil turned into a paint brush and the pipe turned into something else.  Not sure what, but it's not a pipe.It was then put into an envelope, a German stamp on the envelope and the whole thing was put into a German mail box in England. And it arrived in Paris only five days later.  Now that's Mail Art magic!

Thank you so much Emily.  It truly is a beauty.

Funny enough, they had a leg pulling device in the shop.  However I was too shy to buy it!

Ha! I laughed so hard at the photo of the address. Although, I think my leg is being pulled here.

Glad you liked the boekie and thanks for posting.

See you in the mail.

Well personally I thought that there might be an Avenue named after Ray Johnson.  It turns out that 404 Johnson Avenue is really in Brooklyn.  Some people might say that Brooklyn is part of New York, but it's really just Brooklyn.  Luckily I have a friend who lives there and was able to send me a photo of this address.OH that Emily!  Proof that still waters run deep.  Thanks for questioning Richard.  Otherwise I would not have given it a second thought.

Post Scriptum: ... & who is the mythical  "international mail artist" that resides at "404 Johnson Avenue" in New York???  I wonder if there is a Johnson Avenue in New York City?
