The story I'm telling myself is: I haven't blogged this before because I was waiting for the spectacular Olympic opening to give it a little extra push for relevance. That's my story. For those of you who did not see the four hour over the top extravaganza (all three of you) it's worth a youtubation to see the Queen parachute into the stadium, her dour smile as frigid as Muhammad Ali's entire body. This woman stays in character. Like me, Dean likes to enhance his travels by making mail art along the way. For the curious: I have overlayed the British flag with the Minnesotan whose state motto is: Le E'toile du Nord (in French no less). Freely translated it means: "I like a man with ink on his hands."

Thank you, Dean.

Minnesota state bird is a Loon.  Hence the word; Loon a tic = someone who lives in Minnesota and the few that escaped.

Hmmmm, David, your logic for delaying this Queen-blog

is clouded by the fact that Dean has taken the "A" out-of-your-head?

The Queen reigns! Yay!

These Dean Queens have been hilarious. This one's a beaut. Telling yourself your little story is one thing, David, but telling it to the rest of us and expecting us to believe it, well, what can we think? You're an incurable optimist.

Love the blog!
