FINALLY! The mail I've been waiting for since Dean made this on the 6th of August! He sent it to Riga and I had just left, and my brother emailed to say he picked up some MA from the post office from a laughing post lady! Anyway, he said I had to come back if I wanted it, and a long argument ensued over several weeks until I convinced him to send! (I just had to say I'd pay the postage!) He ended up putting it in a whiskey tin which I bought him, and this is how it arrived all wrapped up and un-Deanish.

This is the official side, nice stamps, collage, blokes drinking in a house made of bottles...

and on the other side...

CHAMPAGNE CORKS!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

All French too, and stuck in an egg carton with some crazy glitter glue! Now that's a sparkling idea!!!

This piece is sooooo cool, because;

1. Vizma in Latvian means sparkle!

2. My grandfather LIVED in Champagne, the place in France, not in a bath full of it, (before Val makes a comment)

3. I looooove champagne!!!

4. It just IS!!!

Thanks Dean and Cheers!!!

Popped? Ha ha! Oh deary me, Dean. Nothing you say or do could surprise me anymore! And no, that is NOT a challenge!

Although my 'TORmentor' Kat does still surprise me with some of her comments...and she wasn't even there for the Love Hotel conversation!!! Cheers to more bubbly Kat!!

sorry, here's more bubbly, Dean and Viz,

as I am not allowed to display the photo of you two "under wraps" :-)

Oh yes, I remember this one.  It came from that story of Vizma wanting to make bottle houses.  I think at one time I was toying with the phrase; "How do your like your eggs ... Popped?"  But discarded it as I didn't really know Vizma at the time and thought it to be too riskie.

What does "under wraps" mean, and why would someone blush about it?   Carina, you better answer this question, I sense we wouldn't get a straight answer from the other two.

PS This one nearly did not fit through the mailbox slot, I really had to bend and push it in.

Exclusive package indeed, an egg carton! Eggs and champange, voilà, what a combination!

Oh lala..that is fantastic! Imagine the amount of bubbly consumed!

But what a clever way to pack and send to riga...

and even in a tin across the world to Oz by your brother!

Well, sometimes we have to keep Dean under wraps? (As you well know,Viz :-)
