Catherine Petres etching

Some days ago I found something big in the mail!

Instantly I was touched by that christmasfeeling. But in October?

So some Questions: Wait till December for opening? If open now how without destroy the packaging? If opened keep the secret?

The last question was easy to answer: I can´t keep any secret! After thinking a while this answers the first question too!

When I opened it it was dark night and the first impression when I opened it was a illuminated spirited person moved through the light of my working lamp. After looking carefully at it I found this beautiful etching from Catherine. I don´t know all the english words for the techniques that are used and I don´t know really how it is worked in every detail. Anyway a fantastic work that I will keep carefully. Thank you very much Catherine!
