Cascadia Artpost Provides Mailings Galore This Spring

Another prolific mail artisan this spring has been Jack Latteman of Cascadia Artpost. Three envelope surprises, and 3 of his oversized hand-pirinted postcard, all marking significant projects or historical investigations or adventures or celebrations…and sometimes even a little political humor!

Jack and and I have a particular love of our respective gardens. We have a lot of perennials here that come back every year and they are quite attractive. But JACK’s garden is a reflection of his hard work and admiration of rare varieties. He is often kind enough to send me photos of the fruits of his gardening labor—as one of his envelopes did this spring.

Another envelope contained Jack’s own way of documenting received mailart: by turning them into artistamps as part of his “ticket-ticket” series…
