Blue Blogjam from Superhero, Amy irwin, and Ekaterina!!!

It just so happened that all the mail I received in one day was blue. Maybe Kat's love of sea blue is seeping into the collective unconscious. I received a wonderful envelope from Amy Irwen with these ATCs in it. The ATC holder was made by Angie. The Blue Trashpo is from Kat and I'm loving how she is including bits of trash stapled on the back for use in making trashpo. I always use everything she sends within days and this is like the freebies they give as inserts in zines like we're talking about in another discussion. She has used some kind of cardboard box that holds bottles of some kind. Superhero always puts "laugh" and a smiley face on the back of his envelopes, and just that simple reminder does wonders.

I have been to the Indiana dunes and some place on the beach in MI, but not here. It looks postcard beautiful!

The Michigan side of Lake Michigan is still beautiful. we go every summer taking the backroads. Have you been there Diane? Union Pier is the 3rd exit into Michigan. i swear this is an untouched up photo.

Oh,yes, Nancy...if you have to live and work in a city...

it is best if it is Chicago on-the-lake, or Thessaloniki on-the-bay :-)

they are both "Second Cities", by the way!

Hey, good-looking beach. My husband grew up in Holland, Michigan, so we've been swimming in Lake Michigan from there on visits. I was amazed at how much like an ocean it is. Kat, sounds like your life as a city person was the best of two worlds.

AAAAH, Chicago beaches :-)

I went to Loyola U, 'had an apartment on the north side

and spent many a summer at North Avenue Beach...

in those days we could swim in Lake Micigan because it was BLUE, not brown !

Kat knows what the beach is like here as she used to live in Chicago. Memorial day weekend is crazy downtown and I rarely get down there. We're lucky if we go once a year even though it's only an hour away. Kids + long car ride = hell
