Art treasures from Luis Filipe Gomes in Portugal.

On the envelope, Luis makes a statement for recycling glass...and inside a drawing emphasises the reycycling theme:

Then come some wonderful surprises! Luis Filipe Gomes includes two amazing engravings and two protest drawings/paintings. I am in awe at the art work, in love with the artistic expression. And so thrilled to have received such beauties. Thank you, Luis!

I agree, Lesley...Luis has a most Picasso-style expression. They are real gems!

Copper plate engravings, they seem to be.

Ooo these etchings are marvelous! Reminiscent of Picasso I think....

The two protest paintings by Luis are reminders of the June protests in-the-squares of Athens, too.

It is fitting that Luis writes that the police man is human: alone and scared, too.

And the protesting youth...done in mixed media and dynamic!
