Diane Keys sent this trashboekie with a theme: beast, animals, goats, lions, catfish - hard to believe what she creates out of trash. Thank you, Diane, that's very special for the animal-loving Svenja!!

And there's even a flamingo leg in it:

Pickles with peppermint sticks?! Must be one of those attempts to soften the detestable with a few bizarre  sugary crumbs. No deal!  and Thank You, D.

Thanks for blogging this Svenja-you are speedy! This was the first themed trashbook I'm glad you like it. I'm sure the art smelled like pickles. My huband is obsessed with these hot pickles. In CO, maybe other places, they eat them with peppermint sticks. never tried it but it sounds gross. Nancy, I promise to never send you a pickle post!

Great-great trashbook from Diane, with a (thoughtful) theme no less. I just got a huge kick out of the whole thing; and the "flamingo leg" reference also cracks me up. Love the Pickle Post envelope also, Diane. Nice catch, Svenja! (For future reference, I hate pickles and if any m.a. ever arrives smelling like them it will have to be put in solitary--total isolation--for the duration of its existence. Thom loves pickles, though!)
