This was a delightful and surprising mail art: Why it's delightful is obvious, but the surprising part is maybe my own ignorance: Alicia's work has such elegance and style--and I love her style--that I was surprised that she wanted to deal with trashpo ... but also very happy. Diane posted a first one from her that struck me as magnificent, and this arrived a couple of days later! She did indeed use trash for her trashpo, and it still shows the care she takes in placing elements so they work together, and yet can be seen individually for the interesting bits that they are. I love it and think we have a trashpo princess here (Diane is queen honcho and all that, and always will be). Whether or not these scans are the way you intended, Alicia, I found that the piece works in just about any direction, which is part of its charm. The coin-eyes HI! is an upper. Thank you very much, Alicia!

I think will soon have a Hall of Fame of trashpo ladies and gentlemen. (Courcelle is a most) Will love to be the curator of this Trash Expo 2012. Something is in my mind. HMMMMM.
