This morning I received a package from Katerina. 'It rattles', said the PostLady; 'Perhaps it's got broken.' This what the package looked like:
'DO NOT SMASH' it says on the front of the envelope. And what's on the back?
Oh Katerina! (And how did that pesky Haptic Hound get on the scene?) You even managed to nclude a photo of me with my Winged Greek God hat.
And so I opened it, and found:
Now even Ian C and his all-night chat friend would have been impressed by Harris Totle: I was. And what else was in the package?
This was the FIRST disaster, no doubt reflecting the state of the Euro in Greece. This Big Chocolate Coin was all squashed and broken. I did the only thing possible -- straightened out the gold foil package (after removing the chocolate and eating it, of course) and photographed it.
And then:
Oh, dear -- a SECOND disaster, a squashed Santa Claus. Again, I did the only humane thing possible and gave him emergency surgery. (Alas, it didn't work very well, so I ate the chocolate).
And then:
Disaster number THREE. A near decapitated chocolate Snowman. Alas, this one was way beyond repair. So I ate the chocolate, of course.
And then:
Things get better! An intact and undamaged chocolate biscuit. (At least I think it's a chocolate biscuit, but haven't eaten it yet. I will though, today.)
And last, but not least, the source of the ratlle that mystified the PostLady:
A PUDDING RATTLE...with spoon.
What a Great Package.
Thank you, Katerina!!!!

Dzambala? Is he the one with a red suit, a big white beard and a reindeer?
You got TWO Greek chocolate biscuits, lucky sod!
(But I didn't have to pay for mine)
Anything to help the cause, and you, our Very Own Number 1.
Have you seen what's number 4 in the Blog Hit Parade?
Yes, folks, it's the Troll's latest sexual ramblings, fantasies and nonsense.
Apparently 53 people have viewed it -- I am advised that 52 of those are by the Troll herself, and the 53rd by some dog that walked across a keyboard in California.
That's The End of my Blogs for 2013. I'll be eating chocolate instead..
Once ya get the Blog Bug, it is hard not to blog, right? :-)
