A Performance/Poem from Simon Warren

This intreguing series of packets, sewn shut, arrived over the course of a few days. There are five of them-so far? I think this is the complete series, so I am uploading it now, but if not, I'll put the rest up later. I wondered at first if I actually ought to cut them open (the sewing seemed integral maybe. . . I don't know. . .)

There were the first four-the #2 in the series arrived later. . .

We cut them open on Easter Sunday-

aaaaaaaaannnnd. . . the whole caboodle from on top of a ladder backed up into a rose bush with my widest lens. . .

How terrific! Scrawled letter forms in black ink-on white pages-a gothic novella requiring scissors and a ladder!

Amazing, Simon Warren! These big dramatic pieces make it official-we've got to put on an exhibition at Jefferson Elementary! Thank you! I am sure this will be met with wonder!
