Erni's Mummy says: All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go ...

All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn

The adventures of Erni's Mummy begins.

The end of this trip is even more imaginative and hopeful than one could envision. Except for you, Dean. What an exquisite journey you have taken us on, and the mystery of the next step--it seems so good in the night. Val shouldn't chide Alicia for her butte comment, though. She's from Iowa. (And she's always at least one step ahead of me, I should add!) Beautiful photography, too. Thank you Dean. ... We teeter on the next step.

I thought that this was a family-friendly site, Alicia, and expected you to keep Merrick's But out of this

Maybe Mim's son will plan a trip to Skeleton point.  Now that's the place to make a skull.

Looks like Merrick's Butte in Monument Valley. What a trip! Someone will find it and send it back to Erni.

Oh I wish I had a trip planned for the Grand Canyon Arizona USA! It'll be so incredible when it's found and sent back to Ernie or carried off somewhere else. This is so exciting!

This one is for real.  The Mummy is off the beaten track of the mass hikers.  Who ever finds it will surely be someone out of the ordinary and worth sending mail art to.

I can't decide.  In one sense I want someone to find it and send it to you.  In the other, I want everyone to meet up there in a few years and we find it ourselves.  I think the cheaper option might be better.

Facing everday towards the sun rise.  Now how great is that?

I now wonder what was inside.  Something I had forgotten about along the way.

What a wonderful place to wait ... and wait... and wait... and wait... and wait... and wait... and wait... and wait.

Of course if we do not hear from Mummy in a few years, we are all going to have to meet up there and find her ourself.  Start saving your money, this would be a trip you do not want to miss.

That would be a wonderful closed circle.  So who will ever find it?  Here are some hints:

Of course someday we might see it on Google Earth.

Good Luck and hope that someday we will have The Return of the Mummy!
