Cards from Dosankodebbie, Jen Staggs, Katerina Nikoltsou,

Once again the photo doesn't do justice to the work. There is a whole world of texture in this etegami that got lost through the camera lens, unfortunately. This is a card from Debbie's new series on holes. She always finds extremely interesting topics to work on, she has an amazing collection of very successful projects, in a nutshell, she's a real pro.…

Received from Diane Keys, Svenja Wahl, Jen Staggs

Big surprise in my mailbox. My first DK mail, yeeey! Two postcards on carboard. Could it even be very personalized mail? Did DK see my Chance/Choice picture and is sending a reply to it? Is it Chance or is it Choice? The characters on both cards are all blinded with the word Chance, Kings of which Kingdom, we will never know. The cards include numbers of…

A refined young lady - from Jen Staggs

Jen's mail is the epitome of vintage. Here she used a card that already had a pretty vintage fragrance (the red flowers), and gave it her own twist. The dress is a pencil work on tracing paper, which gives a nice transparency. But the story really unfolds on the back of the card. It's like opening the doors of a sophisticated and elegant salon of the 18th century.

"A young lady, to be eligible for mariage, was not trained in… Continue

Fabric postcard - from Jen Staggs

When I am lucky to find mail art in my mailbox I always think about what the postman must have thought of it (I know, it's silly). I am picturing him with a big smile on his face, and I am sure he smiled today, as I did when I found Jen's card.

Needle and thread have no secret for the queen of vintage. There is no limit to what can be sewed. Look at those stamps! (my favorite part of the card). I didn't even know you could do… Continue
