The only thing I could find out about Bibi & Tina is a song called; "Hacking Out Together".  So my guess is they must be some kind of computer geeks or something like that.…

Dharmadada Erni Bär - Sonne

Well I don't know how he knew this or where he found the label, but yes this brings back childhood memories.  Sonne means ring, hence, ring a bell.

In Kyrgyzstan the local beer was called Arnina Kashtan, and it had a very bad taste.  I just realised that this is…

Stamping Sponges for Erni Bär - Germany

Well, Erni Bär sent me a set of sponges, and I promissed to stamp with them. Here is how that goes.

First you need to prepare the sponges for the formats you want to stamp. These sponges are tough to cut, so I needed an industrial siccors to get that done. The first letters of Erni Bär to start with.…

Mail Out - Erni Bär

I had prepared a small package for Erni to send today, and as he is sadly not with us at the moment, I am going to do some self-publishing. Here are the pieces that I sent to Erni. The bar codes on the envelope are references to a recent online conversation about barcodes, which involved Katerina from Greece and Dean from France as well. The brown wrapping paper came from Erni in an earlier letter and I recycled it.…

Mail Received - Erni Bär

Last but not least here is the second installment of the mail art I got from Erni Bär this week. Erni is getting a lot of coverage these days so I am not going to overdo it. But then, blimey, this is one productive mail artist!

The envelope features lots of Erni stamps, but also the "E is not dead" stamp.…

Mail Received - Erni Bär

The postman rang my doorbell while I was in the shower. I clambered out of the bath and got dressed quickly and the postman apologized because the mail did not fit into the mailbox. God knows what he thought about the piece of mail art, which I was to receive from Erni Bär. I had been awaiting this with trepidation as he had announced it a few days earlier including some ominous remarks.…

International Trashpo

Mmm, Mmmmm, Mmm! We’ve been having fun with Lady Ga-Garbajo’s Group of Trashpo enthusiasts. And I have recently received some spectacular examples from abroad (..a WHAT??!!) I mean some friends from international locales:

From the Haptic Werewolf, Erni Bär, some vegetarian bratwurst et frites. I love how the card says “UHU,” which I’m sure is text phone lingo…

Readymades from Erni Bär, Germany--Tresspass Your Mind

The mind can be a vast thing: ocean-deep, cosmos-wide and in the distance, more distance. That's why Erni's instructions for the readymade art is so appreciated and valuable. I love anything that comes from the Off Scene Academie Hamburg. Wird ein Professor Rektor der Universitat, so nennt man ihn, "Magnifizenz".…
