Bifidus Jones: Smoking is good for you

Well in the end, I guess it all comes down to what you are smoking.  And as we all know the famous wise phrase; "You can smoke but you don't have to inhail."  Or is it something about a horse and water?

Whatever the phrase may be, Bifudus sends some very pleasing pieces.  Yes, those are tinted edges.

Thank you…

Janine Weiss: Coucou dit le hibou (Hello says the Owl)

The wise Owl sends a jam packed card of images and messages.  The elephant and the mouse is an age old Swiss  wise tale about how a little thing can help a big thing.  Then again, it might be the story about how the mouse took the Swiss cheese from the elephant.  I'll let you decide.

All these messages, which one do you see first?  Somehow my eye keeps going to…

E : The New Year Wishes

Scary or not, the wish is here, and it is real.  Texture, colour & deepth.  You can feel yourself just falling into this piece.  He's back and better than ever.  I'm thankful for that.

It seems that I have been added in the "E" Souls Hall of Fame.  But I think I could do better than n° 254.  I wonder what it would take to become a N° 1 "E" soul?…

This is where the phrase baked to a crisp in an understatement.  Luckly Rebecca is a Mail Artist and can save the day.  Great Mail Art.  The text is…

Katerina Nikoltsou: The day after and Erni's Christmas leftovers

A double wammy from Katerina upon my return from Holiday travels.  Yes, the 22nd of December did arrive in the end, however just in case, I noticed that Katerina mailed this one on the 20th of December, where as the Erni Christmas leftovers was mailed on the 19th of December.  Does this mean that Katerina ate all Erni's goodies before Christmas?  Post marks never lie, but it was all worth it in the name of Mail Art.…

Janine Weiss: La joie céleste

Inspired by the heavy snow in Switzerland and the fact that Christmas is just around the corner ... oh dear, I just remembered, what am I going to buy my wife for Christmas?  She didn't really like the window cleaner I bought her last year.  Sorry, I got side tracked.  Yes, Janine is calm and inspired by it all and full of joy in making Mail Art.  I think this is wonderful.…

Erni Bar: The Long Package Strikes Again

The Long package arrived to our gardien (concierge).  She said directly to the mailman; "That must be for Mr. Marks".  Yes, she now knows Erni's art when she sees it.

I open the box and all of these things popped out.  And yes, I should have taken this picture before half that chocolate bar was gone.  Not very professional of me. Was that Nancy speaking about self control?

So I put on the oven glove and clapped my hands.  It worked !!! No noise.  I replaced the…
