David Stafford's "A" arrives in Greece

Just in case you were wondering where is was, David's "A" turned up in Greece.  The "A" you see on David's profile photo is from 20 years ago ... ok, lets say 5.  Yes that's it, only five years ago.

Copyrights: Photo by a passer by, I think she was wearing an Eiffel Tower on her head.  Color enhancement by unknown photo editor, which could be the same person, but without an Eiffel Tower on her head.…

Susan McAllister: Not sure with string

I received this one from Susan last week and it has been sitting on my desk since.  It just sits there looking at me.  For some reason I like to find names for Mail Art.  Susan doesn't name her pieces of art, and this gives me the opportunity to name it for her.  So after a week I came up with several names.  Unknown, Untitled, and stringing in the rain.  But in the end I thought…

Cheryl Penn: The doomed Mail Art Painting n°6

Another wonderful cut up from Cheryl, and a story I could understand.  Finally, she has come down to my level!

Which part is mine?  The hunt continues ...  mine has a bit of an orange circle, a piano keyborad, and a harp.

A great story, but I…

The start of a long voyage with Thom begins here.  Fly into Seattle and you'll never want to leave after reading this Trashpo book.

Thom Courcelle: Trashpo book Part II - Transpo in Seattle - The start of something big from Thom

And the story continues over water.

I'm sure everyone has a Canoe story.  Some should never be mentioned in a Trashpo book.  Yes, there are limits to Trashpo.

Sail away for 7 days.

Ah now you're talking.  The best way to…

Thom Courcelle: Trashpo book Part III - Transpo in Seattle - The start of something big from Thom

The Car, where would we be without it now.  So open says me.

At last the car.  At one time it was "The great American dream" to own a car.

The last page and sign off, but wait there is more.  Bits that have fallen out of the Trashpo…

Roland Halbritter in Germany in French, and it is legal

Roland Halbritter lives in Germany and continues to be a Mail Artist without being on this website.

At first I didn't think that this would be legal, so I checked it out with the European Regulatory Agency who told me I needed to see the European Medicines Agency.  They deal with Scientific guidelines, but also Regulatory and procedural guidance.

I called; "Mail Art?" they said.  "Oh yes, that would be in Volume 10,256, page…

Amy Irwen: KIWI

Buttoned up Kiwi from Amy Irwen.  The sewing machine lady keeps zig zaging away and producing these beauties.  I like the custom made buttons.

Marie Wintzer: Scene VI 3 photos

Scene VI of course is after scene V but not always in that order.  But what does this all mean you ask?

Well ever pot of gold has its rainbow.  And ever rainbow has its Marie.

Thank you…

Ana Kawajira: Swings some hot Mail Art

In Paris, only down the street for me resides a Mail Artist that keeps me on my toes.  Within Paris, if you send Mail Art  before 6pm, the other person will have it the next morning.

Ana has recently sent me two pieces that had me running back to old art books.  The first is her own version of a work of art by Marcel Duchamps first conceived in 1919.  (Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa onto which Duchamp drew a moustache and beard in pencil.)

     The name of the piece,…

Somewhere in the world Vizma is making Mail Art

Even the hot spots of Trinidad & Tobago can not stop Vizma from making Mail Art.  Of course her luggage tags and places to go helped.

And she is still staying in touch with the latest events of Wimbledon.  Poor Andy let us all down.…

Sarah Churchill: It's going to be one of those days

A good reminder of how I once said that I would never fly in or out of London's Heathrow airport again for the rest of my life.  Very funny this one, but then all UK newspapers are funny.  Even the serious ones.

And with London 2012 coming in two week, all of the world's eyes will be looking at Sarah's Mail Art!  Thank you…

Erni Bar and the wooden Humpty Dumpty Bear

The wooden Humpty Dumpty Bear appeared in Erni's eyes and he just had to buy it.  "Yes, I should be able to do that puzzle."; Erni said to himself.  But when he got the puzzle home, it became another story.  He started to open the package and all of a sudden, the puzzle fell to the floor. "OH No"; Erni cried.

Never the less, Erni tried to put the…

Cheryl Penn: When the Bridge Appeared it ...

Although it kills me to imagine Cheryl cutting up her paintings, I have come to terms with it now and it no longer gives me nightmares.  And an original Cheryl Penn is worth its weight in gold as far as I am concerned.  And with the current gold prices I estimate this to be about $2.72 USD.  So if the other nine people who received a piece of this painting would like to send me their piece, I will happily send them a cheque.  But could you please wait until the end of the month before…

Katerina Nikoultsou: They don't all come at once

I can't say that they came all at once, but when it rains, it pours fantastic Katerina's mail art.  This is my recent collection, which despite the bar code, I might add is not for sale.

MNOPQRS goes without saying.  A bit like the Zalops and other funny words which comes on Mail Art.  But this one includes a bar code

Cake it easy and watch your dough…

Bifidus Jones: The Long Haul, a book like no other

The Land O Lakes kid pulls a fab piece out of his log cabin and sends it to Paris.  This book is simply amazing, and had me smiling from sweet corn ear to sweet corn ear.  Thank you very much Mr. Jones.

But the girls that do, have a ball.

A good story always has a little hidden mystery included.…
