Add & Pass from Laura Daniels - but I have another plan

Laura Daniels from the UK sent me this add & pass, but I have another plan.  I'm keeping this all for myself and sending her something back.  To stay within my limits, it can't be a nice drawing like this one.  I guess it will have to be something funny.  So what might be something funny to someone it Berkshire?  I'm thinking, I'm thinking ....

Thank you very…

Kerri Pullo : Note to self on 3M Post-its

3M Post-its Mail Art is the next coming trend, and I know an Art Gallery owner who would be interested in seeing this art work.   Kerri sent me these two "notes to self " written on post-its.  They were attached with 3M masking tape to a handpainted completely black postcard which was signed and dated.

At the time it was not clear to me why 3M masking tape was used to stick the…

Katerina Nikoultsou : Blue for You (Buy 3M, it's good for your Mail Art)

Ah that Katerina knows where my heart and investments can be found. Clever lady.  Barcodes and 3M.  Funny enough the day I received this from Katerina, the shares for 3M took a dive and dropped to $87.13.  I was ready to jump out a window when suddenly I had an idea.  Luckly I was able to quickly do a Mail Art piece using Post-its, and by the end of the day, the shares were back up to $88.49, a 1.36% increase.

The power of Mail Art is amazing, and saved my life.…

Squares on a string from Marie Wintzer in Japan

This is a wonderful piece that I found myself playing with for hours.  No scans or photos can give you an idea of what it is like and what it can do.  So I have decided to make a video of it to show you.  So watch this space on the 16th of May when I hope to have it finished.

Until then, here is a photo Marie also sent me.  You can see Marie in the shadow taking…

Amy Irwen Taking Liberties

There she goes again that little Amy "Taking Liberties" in a very big way.  Wonderful Mail Art with the shoe strings included.  Great idea and fun to look at all day long.  Being an ex-marathon runner, the melting of the shoes brings it all home for me.  Lovely and moving.

Another little gem from Amy.  Very inspiring.  Thank you…

It seems that Anna Banana has been converted from Bananas to Bar codes.  Who's fault could that be?   How far do you think one could go by using only barcodes?  And where do we go from here?  Thank you Anna Bar codes Banana!…

Katerina Nikoultsou's Corn Flower , Greek Spring & Barcodes. (Barcodes where a thank you for the sick bag)

Corn Flower in Greece.  My wife really liked this one.  She said immediately that it looks like corn flower.  I said, “Really, I thought the blue paint tipped over.”  Actually I have no idea what corn flower looks like other that the stuff in a paper bag or jar.  Lucky this one arrived in Paris under knowledgeable eyes.  Besides flowers, my wife also knows about birds and can…

Perfect from Diane Keys

Sometimes perfect is just perfect.  I sent a sick bag to Diane and her reply was to put all of this stuff into a refillable coffee bag.  Yes, I was perfect.

New York postcard from Cherly H. and a poor job in scanning by Dean

Actually Cheryl H. sent me a real postcard from New York.  Really sorry, but when I put it in the scanner, there were some  pieces leftover from the previous scan.  But you can see the main parts of the postcard even with the other images in the way.

Does anyone know who the lady on the right is?  She must be famous as she is in the Grévin wax museum in Paris.  (No they are not real, they are made out of wax.)

Thank you again Cheryl H. for the…

A Jackpot of Dame Mailarta Culte items

I'm a big fan of Dame MAilarta Culte collectable items.  They are always outrageous, and since that is my norm they fit in fine with my daily life. (Yes, The Dame MAilarta Culte is spelt with an "e" at the end ... that's class!)

I carry this one around where ever I go.…
