LIMITE, SCAMBIO, SEGNO
LIMIT, EXCHANGE, SIGN
A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,
mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Project by Rizoo Group, Tiziana Baracchi and Pro Loco di Portogruaro
Format and dimension of work:
square of maximum size 21 X 21 cm
No e-mail

No returns, no jury, no fee, no sales

Welcome to IUOMA,W...Wendy?
I like your art work with ALL the stamps!
Now I know what to do with the boxes and boxes of
thousands of US postage stamps I have collected..(probably
not of any monetary value)...so, make art!
Good to see you here, and at the CAFE!

Hello to you all. Thank you to those who have made comments. So far I am still figuring out how the comment strings work here. Forgive me if I make a mess. I set up a group on FB called Electric Paper for correspondence art of all kinds. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=330142824893.
I find FB has a nice way of being accessible to the widest range of people. If the IUOMA FB page lets us post, I didn't see how. If not, that is why I started the group there. For a place to post to your hearts content and maybe engage an eclectic group of participants. But it is good to have a focus group network here at ning as well.

Hi W. I guess that is Wendy - right? Anyway, liked your stamp Art and sent something out to you today that should be right up your alley. I like to incorporate postage into my Art occasionally as well. My blog address is on the postcard I sent. Please visit. I used to hang out in Big Sur alot in the late 60's and 70's - I still dream about those days. I miss that area very much.
Cheers, Test
