Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: I have been decorating the envelopes I send to friends and family for years as a way of further conveying excitement for the holiday or special occasion. I really ramped it up with the letters to my children when they were at summer camp but then there was the added benefit of perhaps embarrassing them just a little, in a good way. Yesterday, I found out Mail Art is a thing. A beautiful way to create, express, and share art with those you love and all of those who handle it along the way.
