Comment by Jane Noakes on December 31, 2014 at 2:03pm: There are two earlier versions of this piece, which were sent as mail art to IUOMA members, which are more graphic in execution. This version is painted using a mixture of ash and olive oil. The brush was the head of a dried flower, hence some lines are intentional and some are found. Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
