Actually I made a mistake: it should have been Maryland Post instead of Rhode Island Post, as that is the wealthiest state of the US. Having the capital, Washington D.C., near by helps
I'm ignorant (about most things) but have heard of the Rhode Island Red -- but am unsure if it i) a communist, ii) a chicken, iii) a baseball team, iv) a colour of lipstick, v) other -- please specify.
Well, YES! People make their diet resolutions early, and then comes the first (cigarette etc). That stamp is loaded with cross-references. "Rhode Island" is the small, stuffy state of privilege, and that's the diet of the rich. There are blue dots for the preforations: blue blood leaves its traces everywhere. I'm of the Pieter Bruegel riddle school of painting.
Thanks, Ian.
("What's the story,) Morning Glory" is also the title of a song by Oasis:
"All your dreams are made
When you're chained to (your) mirror with (your) razor blade
Today's the day that all the world will see
Another sunny afternoon
(I'm) walking to the sound of your favorite tune
Tomorrow never knows what it doesn't know too soon
Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to wake up wake up
Need a little time to wake up
Need a little time to rest your mind
You know you should so I guess you might as well
What's the story morning glory
Well
(you) need a little time to wake up
Wake up well
What's the story morning glory
Well
Need a little time to wake up
Wake up
....etc]
Morning glory is the common name for over 1,000 species of flowering plants in the family Convolvulaceae, whose current taxonomy and systematics are in flux. Morning glory species belong to many genera, some of which are:Most morning glory flowers unravel into full bloom in the early morning. THAT'S THE BED & BREAKFAST MOTIF. The flowers usually start to fade a few hours before the "petals" start showing visible curling. Morning glory was first known in China for its medicinal uses, due to the laxative properties of its seeds.
That works with melons too.
What's the story, Morning Glory?
Do tell !
