It's from an A4 size sheet of rubber that I bought at an art shop in the UK a couple of years. It's much easier, and safer, for kids to carve than lino.

The sizes of all of the flags here are 10 x 7 cms (for reasons that I don't need to explain), so are rather small.

Most of the ones in this series are acrylic prints, but I've also tried making them with water-based lino printing ink.

Yes, I use a roller. And I have a 'Splodger' (copyright me, etc) -- a sort of round date stamp thingy with a bit of cloth warpped around it that I use to apply pressure on the rubber. If there's a lot of ink on the rubber, there is a very faint 'splodge' sound.

Voila!

I like it. What type of rubber did you use? Acrylic paint applied with a roller?
