Vierge de cartes et des horaires de trains
Où est passé de grandes pierres d'une prairie
Voir son toujours lire ces mystères
Voir toujours incertain
Voir à la gare des trains
Vous doutez, vous pouvez lire les cartes
Maintenant, vous devez rendre les cartes
Pauvre fille, pauvre fille
Le calendrier indique qu'il est temps

A great poem there DW.
I first didn't know what you meant with "le traitement de l'Alsace". Because traitement = treatment (treaty = traité), so I was wondering which kind of "treatment" you were going to inflict on Alsace :-)) Google Translate comes up with funny things. I don't know which one I prefer, Google T or Cheryl's spell chick on vacation.
Marie, I had meant to thank you for the medieval manuscript from Alsace, as we are looking at a very surreal history of those times in Alsace. Somehow, Dw has placed you as living in that time period.
I think the virgin is spectacular. Some of the 19th century academic painters are pretty amazing. I always wanted to find a pic of Petrarch's Laura, associated with the sonnet where he first sees her in church wearing a veil. This isn't Laura, but it's the way I imagine she should look.
OK - with the lower part, DW decided he wanted to make it look medieval. So those are supposed to be pages from an illuminated book - kind of moronic since it's just a piece of masking tape. And train stations didn't look like that in, say, the 13th century. Yes, the four quarters of the page are supposed to be a cross.
I gather this is the section of "Alsace" that explores its medieval history.
