Carl Jung: philosopher of archetypal geography
There are many kinds of footnotes: north and south poles; tight-rope walking; expensive shoes; Olympic skiing & sprinting; Italy and the Mafia; the Achilles Heel or Euroland versus Greece. This stamp is ostensibly about the geography of the US: Alaska temporarily up at the top West, Florida, or maybe Puerto Rico down on the lower Right. Great place for vacations when you just what to lie around? Before we landed on the moon, Central Florida's main visitor attractions were its scenic beauty and recreation. Today, Alaskans travel to Orlando for first-rate well-emplaced sites.
