They probably didn't become famous because you helped to get them stoned out of their heads.

Whereas you....... well? "Please allow me to introduce myself/I'm a man of wealth and fame...'

Most 'guitar Gods' have their own engineers/tuners/technicians to look after their equipment.

3000 guitars seems rather a lot but....everytime the Stones go on Tour, Keef orders a lot (30 or 50, I think) of Fender Telecasters for the shows.

In the late 60's and early 70's, the Stones employed someone to roll their joints. Now that wouild look good on one's CV!

It was very clever of you, Erni, to start a discussion on guitars, because no-one has asked why I have so many beautiful Spanish flamenco dresses or made any comments whatsoever on my possible cross-dressing activities.

I have some bits of burnt wood in the fireplace downstairs. Let's pretend that they're from Jimi's Strat -- how much will you offer me for them, Erni?

(I read that he set fire to his guitar with lighter fule and that it didn't do any real damage to it, so he continued playing with it at other concerts)

Thanks, Frank!

Did you see that Bob Dylan's electric guitar (a Fender Strat)-- the one that he first used when he switched from accoustic to electric rock at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965 -- sold the other day for $985,000... a world record, beating by about $20,000 the price of Eric Clapton's 'Blackie' (also a Fender Strat).

Here is a photo of some of the guitars in my study. You'll see that there's a black Fender Strat there -- yours for a special pre-Xmas price of $750,000. (For an extra $0.99 cents, I'll sign it with Eric's name for you.)
