Really, which? A number of my friends went to New Paltz - they have (had?) an exceptional metals dept. (I have a piece in the museum there - Dursky I think it's called...?)
Persistent bugger! Val was partially correct again - secrets & chocolate!
You obviously distinguished yourself in other ways, Val. You did, among all your other brushes with the counter-culture, encounter "Gunslinger" Ed Dorn at Essex, which is the same territory I'm referencing.
What's in the bowl, Claire?
I got offered a scholarship to CUNY once to do a doctorate in Psychopathology & Politics, but as there was no way I (as a Brit) could have passed the required US Graduate Record Examination, I ended up going to Carleton University, Ottawa instead, for one of the most miserable years of my life.
Who knows, DVS and VMY might have met up at SUNY/CUNYT one time?
Now, as to what's in the bowl, my guess is squares of dark chocolate.
SUNY - aka Black Mountain III.
I'm with Val. Claire, I'm with Val. Could we get a shot of you on the bed reaching over to the brown bowl so we get a better sense of scale?
(DVS: I was thinking about you Spanish Inq. observation while I was watching the walking dead this evening - man, I would love love love to have some of those implements!... Where did you go to college btw?)
ha ha ha -
But: on the nose my man!
Mmm, Mystery is best... Let's see what your imagination comes up with...? %_^
DVS -- that bowl might be strategically placed so it's in easy reach when Claire's in bed (as is the one on the shelf below). I think we need to know what she keeps in it before suggesting that it gets moved. Any suggestions as to what she might have in it?
Claire, that bowl on the fourth shelf down, my left, doesn't look right in that spot. Could you move it?
hahaha - I saw that comment - it was the first time I've heard those particular references and I liked them quite a lot, nicely apt... This is the current room (I wanted pics before I move - it shall be very, very difficult to leave this space pour moi...:(0
I did post a comment about the Spanish Inquisition but deleted. I'm tired of you crying all the time. I guess this must be the old place & notthe new place.
