(#57 in the present series.) But, much to my father's disappointment at the time, I didn't. On leaving school. I went to University instead. The family hoped I would study something 'useful' like accountancy or law. Instead I originally enrolled for a course in Comparative Literature. And a fat lot of use that would have been to the family business had I ever joined it. Which I never did..
