Bhomas, that would have made making this stamp so much easier! But I'd need 1/8 inch square tube. Does it come that small? This stamp was mostly for practice using the small blade I bought. Previously I had been mostly using a #1 V gouge. I'm planning to make another of this grid stamp to see if it could come out better. Thanks for the info on the tubes. I've never seen them, but now I plan to look when I return to a crafting store.

At some art supply stores, they have a hobby/model section and you can buy metal tubes in different shapes and sizes. I bought some square brass tubes and it cut into the rubber nicely. Made myself a chess board. Thanks for sharing.
